-Two new hammocks that I made. Both are three kilo hammocks and were made for our cognitive science guests from the U.S. and Canada. 
Orange with white arms.
Blue with white "racing stripes."
 The large yellow circle is the sun and the small dark dot at 4 o'clock is Venus. Here's some pictures Melanie and I took today showing the Venus transit projected through binoculars onto some white paper. It was mostly cloudy here and I was skeptical that we would be able to see the transit. Luckily we were presented with a couple of opportunities to try to view the event before the sun went down. I made a hammock last week and will make another starting this weekend. I came across a neat blog at http://ofps.oreilly.com/. It's written for software programmers but is applicable to many disciplines and professions.   |
